Must Have Garden Furniture This Summer

Submitted by admin on April 30, 2011 – 12:17 amNo Comment

When all you want is to get out in the garden again and enjoy some sunshine with family or friends, it can be really frustrating to discover that your garden furniture isn’t up to scratch. If you’re looking to get your hands on something a bit better this season then there’s plenty of reason to get excited. The garden furniture on offer this year is better than ever before, and there is plenty to choose from.

If you’re looking for a straightforward table and chairs setup then you could go for a St Tropaz set. These are made from durable wood, so they won’t crack under pressure, and they can be fitted with comfy cushions and a shady parasol too. Another classic set is the Bogor, which comes with a long table and benches, so it’s great for larger gatherings, or just if you want a bit more space during a barbeque.

Make the garden something you can enjoy too with a good bench. It can help create a focal point, or just give you a cosy spot to read and forget about the world. The Wembley two-seater is perfect for the book corner look, as its modelled on a more Victorian style. For a more social spacer the Olympic three-seater makes it easy to get the focal point you want emphasised for other people. Of course if you’re in the mood for love, nothing says it like a love seat. The Kingston Love Seat is a sturdy, but heart-warming way of making a corner for a couple.

There are some really creative designs out there at the moment too. For serious wicker furniture check out the dark coloured Mayfair range. Also in that camp is the Lincoln selection, while the Milanos makes things more light and Mediterranean. If you’re in the mood for a Hammock – and who isn’t – the Colonial Hammock is like a sturdy bench on hinges, so you can get all the sing without feeling like you’re going to topple at any moment.

So you’re sure to find something to suit your needs this summer. It’s just a case of hoping for the weather to stay nice too.
